So. Here I am, taking calls, while the rest of the company has off.

I'm not kidding. None of the local offices are open, no techs are available except for the on-call ones, and here we sit, working our butts off to make our customers happy.

Bleah!

Went down to the Greensburg LARP this past weekend, kind of on a lark. It was worth it. I forgot how nice it is to play in a LARP, meet new people, and not have to worry about anything outside a personal agenda. I gave myself a bit of a challenge... nearly had to roll up a new character. Basically, any Tremere coming into the city is considered Seditious (what? Tremere being seditious? Who'd have thought of that one?? /sarcasm). So the Prince was none to happy to hear my character wanted to come in. Thankfully, I had a handy ritual that they needed to identify some bad guys, so I came in, kicked ass on my tests, and generally stayed out of people's way. By the end of the night, I was no longer considered Seditious (though every other Tremere still is), the head harpies from Greensburg and Youngstown each owe me a trivial boon, and I think I have a pretty good shot at being the voice for my clan in Greensburg... I was the only one there other than the guy from Youngstown, and I sat in the Primogen meeting for about 5 seconds. Shan got in trouble, and some good friends were there. All in all it was a good time.

Someone (name withheld to protect the not-so-innocent) paid for my EQ account for 6 months. This is good, since we just paid rent and bills will be paid soon. Hopefully this means Brooke can come back this or next week. I would definitely like her back with us permanent-like before we jaunt down to Allentown for Halloween. It'd just be nice. Considering she's our daughter and all.

Didn't sleep well last night. I never do when Shannon isn't home. But I didn't want her driving home through Pittsburgh at night. I know how she can be in unfamiliar places at night, and an urban area would just make things worse. For safety's sake, she stayed with Justin.

But now that it's daylight, she can't come home soon enough.

Time for another shot of coffee.
