We just got back from a trip to Allentown to visit my family. I really missed them. Libby & Brooke hit it off swimmingly, and I have to say I was impressed with Libby all weekend. Mom & Dad are going to help us out a bit, and I hope to be able to do the same for them when I finally get published & stuff.

On the way back, as my wife feyqueen reported, Brooke got really sick. She's at her Grammy's house now, but she won't be staying. Not if I have anything to say about it, that is.

Big Jon is getting married this weekend. I really, really wish I could be there. But it looks like I won't be able to get the days off. The one guy who might have been able to do it won't be available, since his wife is getting induced this Thursday. And who knows how long she'll be in labor? Let alone the fact that I won't keep a father away from his newborn child, I know I wouldn't appreciate it if it were me. And it will be, someday.

More to come. I need to fix go someone's modem. Earn my pay 'n'at.
